Here is another collective term, this time a Flounce of Flamingos.
As you can tell I got my inspiration from 1950's wallpaper patters, a small obsession of mine.

Here's a piece I have recently been working on. Its the collective term a Hoot of Owls. 

Soldier, Soldier

More Final Major Project Work.
This time for Spike Milligan's poem Soldier, Soldier... a slightly depressing poem about young men going to fight in a war. I want to make the subject more light-hearted and suitable for a young audience so my idea is to make a set of soldier skittles. Here are my first 2, only 4 more to go... ( I still can't decide what to use for eyes)

Giraffe no.2

This is the soft Giraffe I've made to accompany Spike Milligan's poem Giraffe no. 2.

He is hand sewn and made from mainly hessian, with small patches of material and string.

For making himself
With sawdust, sting and patches.
